Short-Term Missionary Reports & Lunch
The Global Partner Team invites you to a church-wide luncheon on the third floor after worship on Sunday,
Aug. 3. The three teams of short-term missionaries from Intown will share how God is at work in their lives and in the places they served this summer (West Virginia, Japan and Zambia). Please plan to attend! There is no charge for the lunch, but donations will be gladly accepted.

Ministry Year Launch & Volunteer Fair
Join us on Sunday, Aug. 10, at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary to hear about the exciting ways that God is leading Intown. Volunteer Fair for service in the church will follow. Please stop by one of our tables in the church lobby before and after the worship service to learn about some of the ministry areas where you can use your talents to serve at Intown.

Christianity and Literature Community Group
Do you love stories? Come gather at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday nights beginning September 2 at the Agans' home in Tucker as we start a year-long discussion of The Lord of the Rings, looking for ways God's one True Story of Creation - Fall - Redemption - Restoration is echoed in Tolkien's classic work. Whether you've read it zero times or 20, whether you're in middle school or retired, or anywhere in between, you're welcome to join us for food, fellowship, and encouraging discussion, using stories that delight us to ultimately point us to Christ. 10th Anniversary Celebration
This week (July 1) marks the 10th anniversary of Jimmy and Tricia Agan’s arrival at Intown. We’re planning a fun church-wide picnic to celebrate this occasion on Sunday, Sept. 7, immediately following the worship service. Details will follow later, but please save the date, and plan to join us!

Summer Family Social
We invite families to come join in on a time of fellowship this summer on Saturday, July 19 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on the back lawn. We will be keeping it cool with water related activities for the kids, yard games and popsicles for all! Feel free to bring your own blanket or chair.

Atlanta Summer RUF
Atlanta Summer RUF, hosted jointly by Intown, Emory RUF, and Georgia Tech RUF, will meet at the Intown Coffeehouse on Thursday, July 3 at 7:00 p.m. for dinner, fellowship, and Bible study. Women's Game Night

Summer Park Days
The Children's Ministry invites young families to connect and play together at W.D. Thompson Park every Wednesday, 10:00-11:30 a.m., starting June 11 until the end of July. No registration is needed. Come whenever you can join us.

Tiny Tennis
All kids ages 3-8, are invited to join us for a summer tennis "camp" called Tiny Tennis. It will be a great time of fun, laughter and learning basic tennis skills. We'll meet on 6/10, 6/24, and 7/22 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Registration is required. Register here.

Atlanta Summer RUF
Atlanta Summer RUF is back! Hosted jointly by Intown, Emory RUF, and Georgia Tech RUF, we will meet five times this summer to enjoy dinner, fellowship, and Bible study together. Our first meeting is May 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Intown Coffeehouse. College-age young people, including those graduating from high school this year, are welcome to come and bring friends. Questions? Easter Follow-Up Book Discussion
Is Easter Unbelievable?
Pastor Tae Chin will be leading a discussion about the book that we gifted everyone on Easter called Is Easter Unbelievable? this Sunday, May 18. If you are struggling with what you believe about Jesus and Christianity (or you know someone who is) then this is a comfortable and safe place to ask questions and discuss ideas from the book with Pastor Tae. All are welcome to join the discussion! We will meet right after the worship service at 12:15 p.m. in Room 203. A light lunch will be provided.

Melanie Penn in Concert
Please join us for a premiere performance of The Rising: A Resurrection Album by acclaimed singer-songwriter Melanie Penn. The Rising tells the story of the 40 days between Christ's resurrection and His ascension, with each song capturing moments from the Gospels. This concert will feature live music, Scripture, and will be a wonderful way to observe Eastertide with the Intown Community Church family.

Upcoming Sermon Series: Hope Realized
Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection are the two key events that secure the redemption of the world. But what comes next in the story? What other key moments and movements did Jesus teach us to expect after he rose from the dead? Looking at a series of texts from the New Testament, we will learn about five more key events that shape Jesus’ purposes for the world—five things he has done, and continues to do, for us, in us, and through us.

Creation Contemplation Class
You are invited to explore simple practices in nature observation and journaling that can grow you in connection to the Lord through His creation. Through this three-week series, we will look at Scripture, enjoy simple nature journaling practices, and discover how quiet observation of the nature around us can grow us in relationship with the Lord, our place here on earth, and with each other. The series will take place Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., in Room 213, April 27, May 4, and May 11. You are welcome to bring your own journals/sketchbooks, but everything will be provided. Young Adult Gathering
Intown Young Adults meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month and will be meeting at this Monday, April 14, 7:00 p.m. at the Intown Coffeehouse for dinner, fellowship, Bible study/discussion, and worship. Intown Children's Ministry is hosting a Easter Egg Hunt! Come out with your kids, bring a picnic lunch, enjoy fellowship and of course, hunt for easter eggs.

Culture & Christianity: Art in The Spiritual Life
Join us on Thursday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. for the next installment of our Culture & Christianity Series taught by Pastor Luke Brodine, an enriching exploration of "Art and the Spiritual Life," where we'll journey through the sacred beauty of Byzantium and Albrecht Dürer's profound masterpieces. Discover practical ways to weave artistic appreciation into your daily walk with Christ, deepening your spiritual connection through the gift of visual expression. We'll conclude with a special gallery night showcasing the creative talents of our own church family—all are welcome to experience God's beauty reflected through the hands of his people.

Women's Retreat
The women's retreat is back! Our speaker for this year's retreat is Laura Straka, who holds a Masters in Biblical Studies from RTS Atlanta and works with RUF at Emory. She will teach us lessons from Isaiah about God's glory and how it gives us hope. The retreat will be March 14-16 at Forrest Hills Resort in Dahlonega, GA. This is a great weekend to be encouraged and build stronger relationships with the women in our church. There will also be time to rest and commune with God more deeply. Prayer Walk for Intown
A prayer walk is a time of intercessory prayer that involves walking through a place where you want to see God work in mighty ways to accomplish his purposes. Our deacon-led prayer team invites everyone to join them in a special Prayer Walk for Intown on Saturday, Mar. 8 beginning at 10:00 a.m. All ages are welcome to participate. We will meet in the church lobby before beginning the walk. No registration is required. Just grab your cup of coffee/tea and join us!

College Student Lunch
Intown will be hosting a lunch for all college students on Sunday, March 2, immediately after the worship service in Room 217. Equipping Church Leaders
Like any healthy church, Intown has an eye on continually cultivating and equipping new leaders. As part of that commitment, we are offering a series of classes for anyone in our congregation who is interested in growing into a possible leadership role at Intown. If you think God may be calling you to serve in the future, please consider joining this class, which will meet on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., Mar. 2 - Apr. 6. The first topic is “Leading From Your Identity In Christ” led by Jimmy Agan.

Parents' Morning Out
Intown Children's Ministry is excited to offer a morning out for parents of children (infant - grade 5) on March 1, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Drop your kids off with us and enjoy the morning on your own, with your spouse, or with a friend. Whatever you decide to do with your time, we will have your kids' time covered with a fun morning full of crafts, games, and treats. Advance registration is required. Women's in the Bible
In 2025, Senior Pastor Jimmy Agan will be teaching a three-part series on Women in the Bible. Part 1 begins this Sunday, Jan. 19 at 9:30 a.m. on the third floor. He will begin with an introductory look at two women Jesus praised as ideal disciples. Everyone is welcome!

Christianity and Literature Community Group
Beginning Jan. 14, the Christianity and Literature group will begin discussing Jane Austen's first published work, Sense and Sensibility, a novel with something for everyone. A story of selfishness and self-control, involving sisters—loving but very different; suitors—two honorable men and one charming cad (plus a hilariously obnoxious husband); secrets and silence; verbal and violent duels; and a spiritual undercurrent of repentance (false and real), forgiveness, and applying the Golden Rule at great cost. This is not just for ladies!
