The Prophet Hosea and the Power of God’s Love

The passions of the human heart for security, prosperity, and acceptance run deep—so deep, in fact, that we are prone to worship anything or anyone we believe can meet those longings. Instead of exclusive devotion to the God who is the source of every good thing we desire, we offer ourselves to ‘gods’ that we make by our own effort and imagination.

Into this story of misplaced affection comes good news: God pursues his people with more passion, perseverance, and commitment than even the most devoted husband would show for his wife. In fact, the grip of lesser loves—substitute gods and their empty promises—on our lives is loosened when God’s forever love wins our hearts. To learn more about God’s forever love and its power to transform your world, join us this summer for a 10-week study of the prophet Hosea.

We Serve Together

One of the ways that we try to fulfill God’s unique calling for our church is through service to others in our community. There are a lot of ways to get involved as a volunteer. Click below for a current list of opportunities.

We pray together

Intown is a praying church. As a church family and as individuals, we take our requests to God believing that he is a caring Father who listens and a powerful King who responds.
